There are several items related to Magic:Ī mysterious, ancient potion with powerful magical qualities. Due to this curve, it is totally feasible to stop grinding mastery levels once you reach that 60% margin as the rate that damage increases is significantly reduced, meanwhile the required XP is still higher at those levels.ĭo note that these exact numbers will be different for magics with higher or lower mastery limits, but the rate that damage increases is still the same for all magics. Beyond that 60% mark, your magic's damage output will still increase, just at a slower rate. At mastery level 300 on Fire and Ice, your spell damage will actually be about 90% of the maximum spell damage your magic will be able to inflict. The damage increase per level makes a major shift at about 60% the way to max, which for Fire and Ice is mastery level 300. However, when you hit mastery level 140, your magic damage will actually be 56% the way to max, despite being just over a quarter of the way to max level. Here's some numbers to put this into perspective:įire and Ice magic's spells are all unlocked by Mastery level 140, which is 28% the way to max. You'll generally have all spells unlocked by the time you're 1/3 the way to maximum mastery, and your damage will increase greatly until about 2/3 the way. The rate that your spell damage increases per level is significantly higher at earlier Mastery levels than it is at later ones. These XP points will be added to a player's Magic Mastery automatically, allowing them to unlock more moves and have increased damage as they progress. To unlock more spells, players must seek Magic XP, which can be gained by dealing damage to mobs using Magic (no longer needing it to be the finishing blow). Magic Mastery: To start, a player has only one magic ability and 0 levels of mastery. This can be accessed by pressing Tab, and clicking on the purple book icon. The book also displays a player's progression in their Magic, showing how many levels are needed to gain more abilities. The Spell Book contains a list of magical abilities associated with the type of Magic a player has equipped. ![]() Once Magic has been obtained, the Magic may be operated by equipping it with Q on PC.Įxample of the new Magic Mastery level system in the Spell Book. Light Anima can be found at the end of a Greater Ocean Hold Ruin. In addition, Fire and Ice Anima's are able to be found in the Supreme Snakescale Crypt, and Lightning Anima in any Moonrise Cove Temple, of which Magic Animas occasionally spawn in the Treasure Room at the end of the Lost Ruin. However, the Lightning and Light Anima can only be found in Lost Ruins. Players are able to purchase the Fire and Ice Animas from Daniel’s Magic Shoppe on Castaway’s Retreat for 80,000 Doubloons.
